Value for money. Had a great sleep as the beds are clean and mites free. Room is ventilated properly. No amenities such as slippers and do bring your own. Great for one night stay.
A little hard to find, though that could have been due to all the stalls on temple street for CNY. As you come out of the Chinatown MRT take exit À. The location was great for exploring Chinatown and generally Singapore. The hostel layout is a little strange but they have everything you need.

The first night the air con was down, it’s so hot that I was sweating and couldn’t sleep. Some doors of the toilet and shower room do not work.

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities
I had the worse sleep I have ever had in a dorm room while traveling at the Bed and Dreams Inn. I got in at 2am and was woken at 5 when the Air Con seemed to not be working, people turning lights on etc. I wanted to cancel the rest of my reservation and find somewhere else to stay but they could not refund me. Instead they upgraded me to a 6 person room (rather than a 10 person room). Even after this upgrade I never got a full nights sleep. The bathrooms were in a state of disrepair. The toilet room was located away from the shower room and as a result people use the shower to relieve themselves and it smelled like it! The shower doors were also broken and not all of them could be locked. The toilet room was disgusting with one toilet being out of order the entire week I was there and several lights being out in the stalls. The toilets never seemed to get cleaned.

Liked: Staff & service
Disliked: Cleanliness
Hosts were very nice people and helpful.
This place is super close to subway, and ~1km away from a hawker centre for food hunting. The mall across the street sells SIM cards and opens as early as ~8:15AM (be prepared to barter though).
The hostel itself is fairly simple fare, do not compare it against Japan or Taiwan. You got typical bunk beds (note no privacy curtain), small lockers for valuables, you must remember to bring your own slippers (no outdoor shoes allowed), and imo toilets were a bit underpowered. I did like shower's fairly hot water with high pressure and good air con. Bed side outlet just might work with North America/Japan two-prongs, but bring your international adaptor just in case.
The price is cheap, and the location is great, very close to the MRT station (2 minutes by walking)
The shower rooms and the toilets are really small, no much space to put personal belongings.
There are no lockers in the room. Sometimes the voice at the corridor can be heard from inside the room.
