CUBE Boutique Capsule Hotel should be renamed to CUBE Boutique Capsule HOSTEL. There are no private rooms, only dormitories; and all the facilities are shared. For example, you will be sharing the: dormitories, bathrooms, and co-working space.
For the price paid (approximately SGD$58.00 per night), the stay was excellent value for money.
Breakfast is included (7:30am – 10:30am) but the choice is very limited. Included in the breakfast: three choices of cereal, toast with several spreads, two options of fried noodles, two selection of fruits (watermelon and oranges), water, as well as coffee and tea.
Wifi is included, it is extremely fast and reliable.
Conveniently, there is a laundry room guests can use for free. There is one washing machine and one dryer available. Laundry powder and bags are provided.
The hotel is located in the heart of Chinatown. There are a variety of restaurant and hawker stalls along Smith St, as well as several 7/11 convenience stores less than 1 min away by foot. Notably, there is a restaurant directly below CUBE called Hawker Chan. It is the world's first hawker shop awarded one Michelin star.
For transport, the MRT is less than 1 min away by foot. From the Chinatown station you can visit various points of interest in Singapore. 3 stops will cost you approximately $0.92 with the MRT card.
