Beautiful hotel in a wonderful location. Great restaurants close by, easy walking to Chinatown. Incredibly nice staff at the hotel making my stay a fantastic experience.

Beautifully crafted hotel - excellent service and breakfast. The all design is very well thought to the last details. I recommend the rooms facing the street as there are brighter. We were surprised to understand that the pool was in a different building, but only 1 block away

Hotel idéalement situé dans le quartier Chinois, beaucoup de charme, décoré avec goût dans l'esprit d'un vrai "boutique hotel". Le restaurant de l'hôtel est excellent. les chambres "shophouse" sont un peu petites.

Hello Jean, We definitely picked the right location as there were many guests who raved about it. Give our commitment to zero waste, we decided that a buffet service would be too wasteful hence it is on a ala carte instead. ①スタッフは親切でした。場所もMTR、レストラン等ににアクセスしやすかった。②部屋が狭く、椅子・テーブルが無く外出から戻った際に寛げる最低のスペースがない。③シャワー室は完全密閉されておらずリラックス出来なかった。ガラスのパネル1枚で遮られているのみで入浴の際にシャワーが洗面台に飛び散らないように気遣う必要があるため。

Hello, Thank you so much for your feedback. We are delighted to hear that the staff was kind. We are operating in a heritage property hence space is a luxury we don't have. In Six Senses Maxwell, the bathrooms are a lot more spacious so perhaps the next time you try out Six Senses Maxwell when you are in Singapore.

サービスもよく、内装にもこだわりがあり清潔で素晴らしいホテルでしたが、シャワールームの排水が悪く、シャワースペースからすぐ水が溢れてしまい、何度か排水を待たなくてはいけなかったのが少し残念です。 それ以外は、申し分なく素晴らしいホテルです。

A Beautiful and Wonderful Hotel!
Absolutely wonderful time at the Six Senses Duxton. The location is great, I was able to walk around, eat and see many sites in the area. Spencer was extremely helpful with reccomendations, a map of where to go and he was spot on with all it. Next time my husband and I will stay longer in Singapore and most definitely at the Six Senses Duxton!

Beautiful Chinese-style decor. Exceptionally well done. Very eco-friendly. Kind and helpful staff. Chinese restaurant is excellent. Only complaint is the price of drinks at the bar. S$32 for a Gin and Tonic!!!!! Pretty outrageous. Realign drink prices with reality and its a 9 out of 10 experience

Good short stay
Friendly, but rather slow, check-in, after which my room key card didn’t work and I had to go back to reception again. Small rooms but with everything you’d need - perhaps too small if I were staying more than a week, but I found it very comfortable and well equipped for my extended weekend stay. 7am fire alarm(!) didn’t help with a good night sleep. All in all, a very nice hotel, in a great neighbourhood, but could have been better.

Beautifully curated hotel experience
I stayed with my wife for a long weekend and we really couldn’t fault the hotel. The decor and design is beautiful. The rooms were very comfortable with some great touches (singing bowls, sleep aid natural remedies, stress relief balls etc). The place feels very decadent and the Chinese doc is a great additional experience, both my wife and I used the service and it was amazing. Shame that there was no spa or pool. We used the spa pods in Maxwell and although the messages were good, the vibe is strange and it’s weird not being in an actual spa - i’d Recommend finding an actual day spa or visit one of the many local massage places close to the hotel. Breakfast was good and cocktails were delicious in the bar. Staff were very friendly although when compared to other 5* places (Four Seasons/Mandarin Oriental etc) they seem a little timid and not as knowledgeable/amenable but that’s really a minor observation that is scrutinizing the place very closely! Otherwise the hotel is beautifully curated and we had a really great stay. The area is perfectly situated to explore too and is amongst some really great sightseeing spots, bars and restaurants.

Very cool hotel. Wonderful bed sheet, very friendly and accommodating staff. Centrally located with lost of great restaurants within walking distance. China town is just a quick 3-4 block walk.

Its in the Chinatown area but doesnt seem to be known by a lot of drivers, taxi & rideshare alike. Because its a small hotel/boutique, they were not accommodating of late checkout even though we had 4 rooms total resrved. The breakfast was so-so. Part of the poor accommodation for late checkout maybe the fact that we booked through Expedia.

Thank you very much for your feedback. In regards to our location then house numbering of Duxton Road isn't done in traditional sense which can be confusing to some drivers. Late check outs are always accommodated when ever possible for our gusts. We would not be able to offer these during busy occupancy times which we currently are in. Thank you for staying with us. What I loved about the property was the marketing concept of sustainability and health and well being. I loved the welcoming and the brochure outline the connection with the community. The model for a hotel is unique and targets a specialised market. We see this is resorts and spas in different lactations, usually rural or isolated. To attempt this in an urban setting and with a sister hotel..the Maxwell, is courageous. The resident herbalist is fantastic. However, the concept I believe is fractured, when loud hip music greets the client on checkin and throughout the stay. It presents a confusing marketing message. Is the target audience wellbeing and health and environmentally aware..or is it hip as reflected in the music streaming outside to passers by and to the guests as they move around the hotel? I believe the owners need a clearer marketing image. Tranquil music or at least music in the background rather than music dominating the "senses" would better reflect the intention of a city oasis.
