Recommendation: Search for another hotel! You will not get lucky or satisfied in this one. Hotel is close to a an Underground station from where you can go to the City that is really good. The hotel is really a basic hotel. Reception is really small and all the hotel is really old-school and the furnite not the newest one and also not in the best condition. The room is really shaby so it does not feel clean. The room is smelling bad and not healthy. In the bad there is a mildew (mold / mould) in the bad that is really unhealthy and discussing. The biggest problem was the not working shower. Even after 2. attempts to sort it out with the receptionist there where no change.So i had to book myself a new hotel to get a shower.

This is a no-frills hotel in a quiet suburban section of the city. The famous Tiong Bahru Market with the huge selection of eating vendors is just a 5 min walk. The area has become increasingly gentrified for the expatriate community. Besides local eateries there are quite a few cafes or bistros for this community. The premises is clean and relatively newly refurbished which is a plus point. However, there were no mini fridge or a closet like other Hotel 81, and the oft criticism of this chain hotel rooms being used by the hour for adult purposes was quite evident on this property. It is in at a dead-end street and is quiet and secluded.

A lot of nice restaurants in the area and perfect location of you are tired of the high rise of the city

The hotel location is convenient, easy access to MRT stations and buses. The bedding is really good quality however the hotel is outdated near refurbishment especial the toilet/shower room.

There were ant on the bed . The hotel was extremely cold and can control the temperature. So the whole time I had AC off . It’s extremely uncomfortable stay

The hotel is small, old and not too clean. You can hear noises from the alley and from the room next door. The front desks are friendly but don’t have good knowledge about their surroundings or about public transportation.

good value fof the money.
overall, a good value for the price. served the purpose of a clean bed and a shower for a reasonable price. room is clean and the staff friendly and accomodating. highly recommended for non fussy visitors who wants to stay on a budget. another plus is the proximity to public transportation and a convenience store within the building.

The room was to be expected for the price. The bed was quite hard and I would run out of hot water in the shower. The room could use more cupboard storage space. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is great with just a short walk to Outram Park MRT and quite a few food options very near by.

Hotel 81
This was a last minute booking after Travel cancelled our reservation at the 11th hour. The hotel was gerenally good but the was a few areas of cleaning that was needed like the window ledge was very dusty. Also the shower needs a proper cubicle so that the entire toilet area is not wet after someone has a shower. The management and staff were very helpful and accommodating.

Air con breakdown. Need to change room to 1 queen bed instead of 2 single. Front desk promised to repair the air con while we were out for dinner. Bit end up didn't do and excuse was nibody in the room.

Staff in general are polite and friendly. Paid S$119 with a smelly and noisy bathroom (smell should be from the drainage). Internet slow. Aircon very cold and cannot be adjusted (or on/off) because it’s centralised. We were in room 310. Please check the conditions. This is not my first stay here. Hotel could have done better or maintain the standard than the previous stays.

Great hawkers market down the road for a big cheep breakfast or lunch with the locals. Located in a slightly more suburban area with less tourists so better vibe plus lovely helpful staff and 24 hour convenience store underneath run by a really friendly fellow. Rooms are not big on western standards but normal for Singapore and great value. If you have a ton of luggage may be a problem though. Everything was clean with nice crisp linen on a firm but good mattrice and WIFI worked fine. A bit of a walk to MRT but good for us to burn off all of the wonderfull food we consumed. We walked to China town several times and even did a big walk to Gardens By the Bay via China Town and the CBD but opted to catch the MRT back. If you do not do walking the MRT is about 400m away so will need to consider the bus or taking a Taxi either to the MRT or your destination. Taxis are reasonably priced and honest though.

USSに近くて清潔そうなホテルで値段もシンガポールでは安かったので予約。遅くにユニバのチケット印刷を片言の日本語でやってくれたフロントのイケメンの対応に優しさがあり満足しました。ユニバに行くバス123(行き)123M(帰り)が近いし角のお店もおいしくて安いからか大人数の外国人で賑わってて良かった！ユニバ目的ならここがオススメ！

Conveniently located to train and bus sevices. Staff service is what you would expect with 24hrs reception. Plenty of eateries within the vicinity. Room itself is smaller than most and dated but clean.

차이나타운에서 많이 멀지도 않고 지하철역과 버스정류장에서 가까워 접근성은 좋은 편이라 생각합니다. 서비스도 친절하고 시설도 깔끔한 편이었습니다. 아쉬운 것은 침대가 살짝 작아서 대각선으로 누웠는데 크게 불편한 수준은 아니었습니다. 다시 간다면 또 가도 문제없다고 생각합니다.

got very early in the morning 5Am got friendly welcome and although I had sent an email to see if i could stay late like 2 Pm didn't get answer reply but when I walked in Lady knew who i was and said can stay till 3 Pm how cool is that. also slept very well.

Everyday they do the room cleaning even if it wasnt told. Also we requested for 2 additional pillows and they gave it w/o any hassle. It is so easy to check out. The room is very clean and the staffs are friendly and very accommodating. However sometimes the Aircon temperature is a but warm.
