My son and I stayed at Lyf for 5 nights in February 2026, visiting from America. We absolutely loved the fact that it’s inside a mall & the mall itself is amazing, can’t get any better than that, right? Oh yes it can, the location is absolutely top tier, close to all the major spots & Fort Canning park is right across the street. You can literally get there from a bridge inside the mall. How awesome is that. Housekeeping, the front desk staff & breakfast (which you get free if you’re an Ascott member - sign up is free) were also amazing. Highly recommend.

Great for solo travelers! The hotel’s main draw is its location. It’s located inside Funan mall. This means it’s across the street from Fort Canning Park, and walking distance to most major museums (National Gallery, National Museum etc) and also walking distance from Merlion, Singapore's River quays, and Chinatown. So, no shortage of food options. Also connected via underground to City Hall station, making it very easy to get around and getting to the airport. Cons: the rooms are rather small, and no fridge inside room. The floors have water dispensers and fridges for common use. If being inside a mall sounds too busy for you then that might be a con. Otherwise great location at a great price point!
