"Loved this beautiful old hotel, the staff were all friendly and welcoming. Very conveniently located in the historic downtown. My only hesitation to recommend it to some folks would be if you went the wrong direction you would quickly enter a small group of homeless people. "We drove down from Washington State for my birthday and we arrived to be greeted very politely and warming. Walked us to our room and gave us the run down of the history of the home. The entire facility was clean and smelled clean as well. Both hosts were very polite and accommodating! Thank you so much for a memorable birthday weekend. "

"I have stayed many times at this Red Lion as I have property in the area. The staff are invariably friendly and helpful. Areas that might be addressed that twice now when I take a shower before bed, the hot water is just luke warm. Secondly, the large parking lot often seems littered a bit and open to break-ins. There could also be a lamp on the table that has outlets for computers, etc. "

"Its a nice motel, quiet, clean, pet friendly of course. I used to live over in this area in some apartments behind the small shopping center next to it and I feel its pretty safe. They have cameras installed around the motel though for guests peace of mind. Its got restaurants And Jitter Bean right across the street super convenient.. warm place to stay for a night or 2. Alao the shower handle fell off while turning it one and they were very nice about it and offered a change of room immediately...
