"My girlfriend was in town from California and had never been to Muskoka so what better place than Windermere house. The staff was excellent, especially Heather in the pub! She made us feel at home and served up some tasty beverages. Watching the sunset by the fire and the morning Sauna over looking the lake was awesome."

"First impression was poor. The garbage container outside the entrance door was filled to the brim and overflowing. The outside patio table was dirty, beer bottles left on the table and an overflowing ashtray. There was also garbage throughout the parking lot. The yard was unkempt. The firepit was filled with debris, In my opinion these issues could be addressed and kept tidy at all times with routine cleaning. "Place is Cozy and staffs are friendly"

"Rooms have had some upgrades and new furniture, bed was comfortable. However, some elements, especially in washrooms could use some updating. We had a hot tub, when we arrived it had a sign saying permanently out of order. At check-in we weren't told. Location is good a close to downtown main st."

"The new owners are very friendly and helpful. Our room (pet free) was very clean and spacious. Having the small table and chairs in the room was great for us as we had brought our own breakfast food. Its good value for money. Cons for me: Beds were a bit hard You can hear highway noise throughout the night"
