Pike's Waterfront Lodge

"One of the few hotels in Fairbanks that has the bathroom sink and mirror INSIDE the bathroom, rather than out in the bedroom area. Felt very homey and comfortable with card tables in the lobby and ice cream scoop for $1.50 every night. Books, games available for guests. Shuttle was convenient, drivers were friendly. Gym was definitely a plus. The breakfast was just OK, not exceptional, but overall we would stay there again."

"This place was built as an apartment complex and was later converted to a “resort” hotel. Imagine if Knight’s Inn built a resort. That aside, the price was good and the rooms are huge. Not much in the way of amenities, honestly, but a clean, decent place to stay. The location is quite nice."

"Lovely and very peaceful place with the nicest hosts. The room was big and bright, facing an endless forest and on clear days you can see the Denali mountains floating above. Everything was comfy - especially the bed. The hotel is brand new and well maintained. The breakfast was small and nice (as vegetarians and health freaks we only had the granola and fruits and used our own plain yogurt). Don't hesitate to book it for your next trip."

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. Every morning JB would make a hot breakfast for the guests. The room was clean, spacious, and felt more like home than a hotel room. The lodge had a great pourch to view the Northern Lights, and I could even see the lights from my bedroom window. Dont sleep on this one, book a stay!"
