Wunderschön gelegen, ruhig und idyllisch. Ein idealer Ausgangspunkt zum Erkunden der Gegend! Wir hatten das kleinste Zimmer, Doppelzimmer mit Bad. Es war gemütlich und für uns total ausreichend. Man kann bei schönem Wetter den Gartenbereich mit Stühlen ind Tischen nutzen oder drinnen auf einem gemütlichen Sofa relaxen. Frühstück klassisch British. Ein Plus: das frische Obst, Joghurt und leckeres Granola. Definitiv eine Empfehlung.

4 nights in Malham

We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of August to try out 4 walks for our forthcoming ramblers walking holiday. We very much enjoyed our stay here if any of our fellow members wanted to stay in Malham, we'd definitely suggest they try here. Accommodation, breakfasts and were excellent and just the right location in the Dales to base our walking week on. Staff were very welcome and that includes the cat too!

We absolutely loved this place, located in the heart of Malham. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The larger rooms were fully booked in advance, so we opted for the Comfort Double Room with an ensuite. It was clean and spacious for the two of us. I especially appreciated the small touches in the room, like the homemade biscuits they were baked to perfection! Breakfast was pre-ordered the night before, which worked out perfectly for us. The breakfast itself was delicious, and the staff were fantastic. The house is set in a beautifully scenic and convenient location in the village, close to the pub and the main paths leading to walking routes for Janet Foss, Gordale Scar, Malham Cove, and Malham Tarn. This definitely won’t be my last visit to this place. Highly recommended!

Beautifully situated and comfortable traditional farmhouse accommodation. Michelle is an excellent host, nothing too much trouble, and with amazing breakfasts. It was so convenient to be able to walk directly from the door, with the Pennine Way literally on the doorstep. Would highly recommend as a base to explore Malham and the beautiful Yorkshire dales.

We stayed here for two nights. Lovely and clean with everything we needed. Very quiet, beautiful views and location and perfect for walking straight from the front door. Very tasty breakfasts. Would definitely recommend.

Michelle was very friendly and welcoming from the minute we arrived at the property. Nothing was too much trouble. The property was very clean and well maintained. Excellent choice of breakfast food and the cooked section was freshly cooked to order. The location of the property was extremely convenient to the local inns - about three minutes walk! The only downside that we found was the size of the bedroom (room 1). It was a little smaller than we were expecting and we would have liked more drawer space for our clothes. However, overall, we enjoyed our stay tremendously! Well done to all concerned.

Absolutely lovely stay! The staff were wonderful, our room was so comfy and spacious! The beds were amazing! Also loved the sweet little village of Malham. So many hikes and sites to see, and the pubs in the village were great walkable dining options as well. Breakfast was great- the porridge and compote were stars of the show! So good! Would definitely return!

Walking the Pennine Way

Stayed for 1 night whilst walking the Pennine Way. Fantastic location and easy to find. Lovely farmhouse b&b hotel run by the owners. Service was excellent and room was very spacious. Would highly recommend.

Lovely farmhouse B&B

Nice room and bathroom. Bed very soft. Excellent tea / coffee selection. Fab breakfast. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Would have been 5* but it was a bit cold in the room so the heating being on would have been nice.

The location central to all the sights of Malham was great - and the ability to walk to all of them, even the 20-mile roundtrip hike to Pen-y-Ghent. Jo and Michelle were very kind and hospitable and it really felt like we were staying with a family, not just in an impersonal B&B. We enjoyed sitting in the guest lounge during the evenings after walking during the day. The room and bed were very comfortable.
