"I’ve stayed at the Seaway Inn off and on for more than 30 years. It’s a beautiful, updated smaller property that is near the Santa Cruz Pier and Boardwalk. It’s had different owners over the years and has been updated. The beds, and pillows are very comfortable. The rooms are spacious, and very quiet. You don’t really hear the street noise but can hear the waves from the ocean. Our king room offered a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee. The staff are friendly, helpful, and accommodating....

"Dude. For what I paid for place is solid. Staff was super nice room was clean but small however I really wasn’t in it. The ac in my room sucked. Probably just my room but still inconvenient considering I love ac. The jacuzzi (both) was probably 94-95 and the jets didn’t work. That was disappointing especially when it was getting cold. Other than those 2 somewhat minor issues everything else was awesome. Great staff. Clean. Amazing location. For the price it’s worth every penny."

"Stayed here over the weekend and had a great experience. The front desk staff were very welcoming upon arrival, and I was even upgraded to a bigger room! A friendly reminder: being kind and respectful to the employees goes a long way. The location is also excellent the boardwalk and downtown area are only about 10–15 minutes walk away. Would recommend!"

"Not clean, has strange and dense smell. WiFi is slow, unstable , and sometimes inaccessible."

"Close enough to walk to the boardwalk and great restaurants nearby. Be mindful there are homeless in the city, especially across the bridge near the shops and restaurants."

"We arrived to check in, the guy at the front couldn’t find our names. He tried telling us our check in was for the following day, not the day we arrived, and I was baffled because I know what I booked. I even showed him the confirmation, roughly 2-3x times. He also mentioned he couldn’t find our room with the confirmation # I received. He finally found it after roughly 10 minutes and gave us our key."
