"Room was not clean, asked to be moved to another room, this one was not that much better and no real apology. Foot order for dinner was wrong and during my meal I was asked to move table to accommodate a larger party that wanted to eat, not ideal when all other diners are looking at you. I’ve stayed here several times before but this visit was very poor."

"Room was freezing cold. Had a little old fashioned heater we had to put on when we got into the room which took ages to heat up. The reception staff were friendly. The hotel was dead, I'm sure we were nearly the only ones there. The whole of the one side of the hotel we were in seemed to be freezing like they only heated the front half where the reception desk was. Rooms were big but very run down and old. We wouldn't stay there again. "

"There was a good buffet breakfast. All the staff were polite and courteous. The room, with a window to the side, gave a view of the cathedral to one side and a view of the marina to the other side. The room was modern and comfortable. The hotel is very close to everything. We will stay again."

"We were running the Boston half marathon and unfortunately we had to leave before breakfast. The hotel also had guest runners, so breakfast was brought forward to 7.00 so that we could all eat. So thoughtful Barry, thank you very much. Lovely quirky deco. Lots of tea & coffee in the room. "
