"Beautiful spacious suite; nicely appointed and updated with warm, cozy vibe. Seemed more like a VRBO than an Inn… no front desk or staff (just a restaurant below) but easy check in instructions with key pad on door and shared lounge area. The food trucks on property were fun and added to the outdoor atmosphere. Surprisingly quiet by 8:30 pm. Nice location to quaint downtown area."

"The lobby smelled like weed and there was a guy dealing in the parking lot all afternoon and evening. Cigarette holes in the bed spread. Holes in the curtains. Door at the end of the hall to the outside was off its hinges. Wi-Fi didn't work. Do not go there. We left just after 7:00 am. Couldn't wait to leave."

"My room was FILTHY. Toothpaste on the mirror from previous guest. Nose hair or beared hair all over the sink in the bathroom. Sticky stuff on the TV area and just awful; I had to go to the store to buy cleaning products to clean the room before staying there. The only thing good was the woman in the breakfast area doing the food. The food was not good but she was lovely and accommodating. For this type of chain clean it up. WON'T stay again."

"Suite rooms aren't sweet. Very dirty room. Microwave had food remnants from guests long ago. Grapes were stuffed into the sink drain and clearly visible. Repair painting requires two coats of paint, not one. Graffiti on the walls in pencil. Hand prints on mirrors that are easy to see. As a suite, you might expect to get a couple of plates, coffee cups, etc., but no, all empty cabinets. The pull out couch "may have" had sheets on it, but there were no extra pillows in the room. "The location of this property was great, on the perimeter of downtown Portsmouth which is a wonderful little city. The staff was very friendly, polite and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, both for good selection and the taste. My biggest complaint is that it was very noisy in my room. The AC unit is the loudest I've ever heard. A few times I thought it was a nearby train when it started running. Also the people in the room above me woke me up at 1 AM doing something. I didn't hear voices...

"It was very basic room and breakfast. The construction surrounding the hotel was blowing dirt everywhere and confused my GPS and sent us through the construction. Recommend you close down and update the hotel. Doors in the halls to maintenance areas were in need of help."
