"I visited for business for a conference. Very nice location and apartment. No staff but electronic checkin. Not possible to contact staff after 8pm otherwise great option and nice place to stay, better than most hotels in Oslo. "

"We stayed in a large studio for 3 nights on the second floor. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean and accessible. Showers had good water pressure and ran hot, the bathroom was large enough to move around, had a fan, large windows, and closet space, and great L’occitaine amenities. The only minor thing would be the shower stall, it’s quite small, though common in Europe. The location is lovely, and walking around frogner is a visually stunning experience. "

"This is a great, no frills hotel right in the centre id town and close to everythi g you need and might want to see. All the doors and locks are operated by smartphone, through their website, which is a bit daunting if you haven't used a system like this before, and can cause a little bit of battery-anxiety, but ultimately it works very well. "The Thon Hotel Cecil was in a great location to tour Oslo. My room was nicely appointed … only the mini fridge cooler did not seem to work. But they have ice machines at each end of the second floor. I appreciated that they cut out the wire around my window during construction so I could see out. The breakfast buffet each morning was a delight with lots of options … including vegan. The evening meal of soup and salad was a delightful surprise to be included … I highly recommend the delicious...
