"Awful. Rundown, dirty. The first room they sent us to was not ready yet, but you could see how dirty the mattress was. The property feels partially abandoned. They put us in a second room that was right by the pool. It was cleaner, but betting worn out with holes. Slept with the bathroom light on. We were supposed to stay for three nights. "We always stay here when we visit Laguna Beach (it’s about a 15-20 minute drive from Laguna Beach) It’s affordable, clean, the air conditioning always works, the pool and hot tub are great, they clean you room every single day, the breakfast and coffee are perfect in the morning before we head to the beach. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!"

"I enjoyed the marble spa jetted tub in the room. The breakfast semmed like a good idea, at first. I have to realize i need to lower my expecrations when it comes to a free breakfast. The eggs were bland. The potatoes were rubbery, and the sausage tasted off. They had a waffle iron so if you are into that, that would be your best bet. Otherwise, cereal and coffee. "

"This place was a great set-up for the room. We requested a two bedroom suite however, there was no door for the second room, but it was upstairs in a loft type layout so we made it work. Staff was great with an early check-in. The location was close to shopping food places. The downside was the room, particularly the floor was dirty. We didn’t eat the free breakfast,‘or use the amenities, but there was a pool and basketball court onsite. "

"It’s basic which you would expect in most motels. You do have to pay $10 if you have more than 1 car on the reservation. The room I stayed in had no batteries in the smoke detector and the shower head was not on the shower water spout. While I’m glad I had a place to sleep, it wouldn’t be a choice I’d make again. "

"Our stay was good. The staff were friendly and accommodating as well. I only took off a star because our room was not as clean as we’d like. The ac vents were caked with dust and separating from the wall. There were large dark red stains on the carpet by one of the beds, and our door was not properly installed and was difficult to open at times. Maybe we just got a bad room. In any case, there didn’t seem like we had many options for two connecting rooms so we stayed put. Not sure if we’ll book...

"I was blown away with the quality of my stay. In addition to how beautiful the prioerty was, the staff was friendly, the amenities were also great. Other points: Loved the little bags of ice instead of the rickety machines that most hotels offer. Best hotel shower I've had in years! I wish we'd have stayed more than a night. However, i think we found our go-to whenever we come back to the city! "
