"Great location. Ocean view is beautiful off the balcony. Staff very helpful and courteous. The property is well maintained and beautifully decorated. Room is well maintained with large comfortable area. Breakfast buffet has so many options of tasty cuisines. The buffet area is well maintained and clean. Service is excellent as well"

Manava Beach Resort & Spa Moorea

"We stayed in a premium overwater bungalow at Manava Beach Resort & Spa on Moorea and it was fabulous. The resort is small and quaint in the best way — intimate, Polynesian in feel, and never overwhelming. Staff were consistently friendly and welcoming. Our bungalow had a private sundeck with a ladder straight into the lagoon, a glass panel in the floor, and an unobstructed ocean view. The marine life right at the bungalow was the highlight. We saw a shark, a turtle, and a stingray just off the deck, along with numerous beautiful fish. We could watch them from the terrace or drop in for a swim whenever we wanted. Sunsets from the bungalow were perfect — the kind you sit and watch without saying much. If you want an overwater stay that feels personal rather than massive, this is an excellent choice. We would happily return."

"We were impressed with how helpful the staff was in meeting our needs. Due to airline issues we didn't arrive in Papeete until after midnight and then through customs after 1:30am made for a long day. There were concerns about checking in to the hotel and the taxi we had booked through the hotel because of our original arrival time being around 7pm. Thankfully the taxi company was waiting with lei's and our name written on a white board for us right out side the airport and the taxi driver had the phone number to call so someone could come and check us in at 2am and after traveling for more than 24 hours this made for a wonderful end to a long stressful day. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable to sleep in, The room had a nice little kitchenet along with cooking utensils and place settings. This type of hotel is nice for being a place for those who just want to explore the island and not have to eat at restaurants for every meal. Don't expect the Hilton but on the other hand the staff did give better friendly greetings and service than other hotels we have stayed at in Papeete. Fair notice if you are one of those who have a TV addiction even when on vacation the TV is the size of a desk top monitor. We never turned it on once. I would suggest when booking this hotel to get the added breakfast as it is more expensive there if you're staying only for one night, Other than that enjoy the "wildlife" roaming about the grounds and be sure to order taxi's early."

Maitai Polynesia Bora Bora

"Great location with beach and restaurants only steps away. The staff was very helpful and wonderful. The lobby is welcoming but the hotel rooms could use some updating. Be mindful that some of the rooms ( not bungalows) require uphill walking and steps. Little too pricey but that's Bora Bora."
