"One of my favorite things about Manava was the authentic Polynesian vibe. Beautiful place, wonderful staff. Loved being able to snorkel off our own deck - did a premium overwater bungalow for 2 days and private soaking pool bungalow for 1 day. It was fun to experience both types of rooms. The beautiful infinity pool was amazing. We just had a wonderful stay and would love to return again!"

"Stayed 6 nights in an overwater bungalow as part of a long trip to the islands of both Hawaii and French Polynesia. "Seriously a hidden gem on Moorea. The renovations are modern and lovely. The rooms are very sizable with a convenient and useful kitchenette. The beach/swimming/snorkeling area is a standout! You have your personal coral reef with all kinds of beautiful sea friends. Finally, the restaurant and bar are 5 STAR. Fantastic choices on the menu. We ate some of our best meals here! The happy hour sunset is a must. Some live music really added to the ambiance."

"Awesome 3 night stay in early May in a nicely decorated and refurbished over water bungalow. Quiet and tranquil. Spectacular views from all the bungalows and around the property. Excellent service. A hands on general manager who personally greets each guest and who was always available for questions and comments. As an avid paddle boarder I enjoyed use of the boards provided for guests. The bungalows sit in waist deep water perfect for swimming, walking, or watching the Eagle Rays swim by."

"The hotel appears to be fairly new. The room smelt of fresh paint, clean and a good size. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom and kitchenette area was a good size. The location is approximately 15 minute taxi drive from the airport, which was perfect, especially with an early morning flight. The only disappointment is no onsite restaurant. "I love this low key hotel. I have been there 3 times and will be back. The front desk is so helpful, the ladys are so nice! It is on the main island so you don't need to pay extra to come off the atolls. It feels like old time tahiti, with shows a couple nights a week. It is great to have the free breakfest right on the ocean."

"The Le Taha'a Pearl Resort is a wonderful serene experience, right near beautiful coral gardens! The General Manager (Laurant) and the entire staff are wonderful! We definitely will be going back there."
