Our only issue was that during our 3 day stay we never had our room cleaned. Other than that I highly recommend The Tides. We will return."

"The Hotel charges a $40 per day Resort Fee , plus a tax on that fee as well. The Fee is for parking at the hotel, breakfast , coffee and cookies. As for the parking , I have a SUV so there is no way to fit into the little parking covered spots on the property and the 4 other spots were always taken or cars parked to close , you would not be able to back up . "Very cute place to stay, away from the noise of the main strip but a very short walk to the trolley stop to get into the main part of town. Complimentary wine was served between five and six pm, fresh cookies were out at night and coffee in the morning, all in the lobby area. There is a coffee shop on the corner and the Royal Hawaiian Restaurant is also very close by. "Hotel, Rooms, and Staff are great. Breakfast not great. Biscuits for the biscuits and gravy were rock hard. Couldn't even cut them. Scrambles eggs were under cooked and hash browns were over cooked."

"I could not sleep the second night because it sounded like a porn film in the room directly above my room. Happened between 2:30-4:00 am. Top floor if I am going to stay there again. "

"The staff went above and beyond in every way and that I appreciated. On the other hand, the shade didn't properly privacy, you could see straight into the room. The sink was cracked so water was everywhere and another sink leaked in the floor. The lamp i slept next to had cobwebs and the internet didn't work. I shared this with the managers and they never got back to me. Hopefully they were busy improving if not hope this review helps"
