"✅ THE GOOD The property was spotless and well-maintained throughout our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean, and while the shower pressure was just okay, we had no complaints about the accommodations. The evening shows were entertaining and a nice way to wind down. The drinks were fine, nothing special. The Italian restaurant was by far our favourite. The location is a major plus. You're just a short walk from 5th Avenue, which is vibrant and perfect for an evening stroll. ❌ THE NOT-SO-GOOD The food at the main buffet and most restaurants left something to be desired. The menu caters heavily to an American palate, which may or may not suit you. The Italian restaurant was the clear exception. The biggest thing to know before booking: THERE IS NO BEACH. The waterfront is rocky, and if a sandy beach is on your must-have list, look elsewhere. Pool chairs are another frustration. Guests stake their claim before 8am, and the staff does nothing to enforce a fair-use policy. Good luck getting a lounger if you sleep in. The resort's vibe feels more like a retirement community. If you're looking for a lively, energetic resort vibe, this likely isn't your spot. Bottom line: Great if you want a clean, relaxed base near 5th Avenue. Not great if you want a beach, a variety of delicious food, or a more dynamic atmosphere."

"Grand Riviera Princess was actually under construction amd ended up staying at their sister location.. Sunset princess. Rooms were clean and regularly stocked. Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Definitely returning in the future"

"The pool was amazing. The property was beautiful. However, the customer service was terrible. Everyone seemed unhappy, and in a rush. There were a couple of great waiters in the buffet and the Asian bistro, however, I did wind up getting food poisoning from the bistro."

"Staff for the most part was really nice where the front desk acted as if we were annoying them. Food was subpar especially at the Grill expected a lot more from that restaurant. Tried to go to the beach a few times and even went over to the sister hotel and the seaweed was just too much. My biggest turn off was the fact that a roach was found in the room and it remained dead on the floor in plain view our entire stay. The resort was definitely lacking in some aspects as compared to other resorts that I have stayed at in Mexico."
