"My husband, our three kids and I just got back from staying at Paradisus for 8 nights and it really was incredible. The staff at this resort was so friendly and helpful and our family concierge Cynthia went out of her way to make every single day feel special and magical, especially for our kids, but also for me and my husband. The room was large and very clean and the beds were very comfortable. They even brought in a full size twin bed for my 13 year old son so we could sit on the couch without constantly pulling out and putting away the fold out bed in the couch. The food was really great and definitely exceeded my expectations. My husband and I only drink a couple times a year but we had a few drinks and they were well poured and didn't taste watered down or short on alcohol. Our favorite restaurants were Flora, Tokimeku, Bana Family, Sal's Steak Cave, and The lunch box. Oh, and the mussels at Cappella were amazing!!!! The buffet was decent but could have used more variety and perhaps different options each day of the week. They occasionally put out different dishes but mostly it's the same every day. The sargassum in the water and on the beaches is terrible but they tried their best to manage it. There were boats getting it out of the water beyond the barriers, barriers in the water, bulldozers on the beach and people taking it up with pitchforks by hand. They have a lovely setup on the beach so I'm sure its pleasant during the winter when the seaweed is better."
