"Breakfast - good spread, include Japanese selection like soba, natto, and small side dishes like onsen egg, cold toufu, seasoned octopus. Also provide cakes which most Taiwan hotels do not include in the breakfast buffet Location - superb because there’s a mall right next to hotel which has shopping and food. Also can go to metro, AirPort Express and HSR via basement Negative: the overall lighting is very dim, in lobby, breakfast dining room and hotel rooms. There’s statues at some common areas which is quite scary due to the dim lighting. Hotel rooms also not ideal due to bathing area is open and only using a curtain. Bathing is using a round tub which is quite high, not good for elderly to climb in and out. In winter, bathing would be very cold since the space is open"

"We stopped in for a one-night layover in Taipei. Picked this hotel because it is situated in walking distance to the Rao He night market, which is a favorite with our kids. Room was beautiful and immaculate! Dropped our bags, chilled for an hour, and then off to the night market for eats, drinks, games, shopping. Super fun! And then right back to the airport in the morning. Got a great deal on Orbitz for our stay too! Only caveat to note is, several floors of the hotel's rooms are underground. This worked out great for us as it kept out all freeway noise as hotel is literally next to major highway, which was very loud in lobby and I was worried about. But the underground rooms were perfectly silent. My family was delighted with the windowless hotel room, but for any travelers who might be less cool with a windowless room, make sure to book an above ground room instead."
