"Nice comfortable location, near the lake, and staff is wonderful. But no elevator nor microwave. Had re3frigerator and coffee maker. Halfway between Bayfield and Ashland...plenty to do in the area."
"EXCELLENT LOCATION!! This is such a beautiful and convenient location! It's close to everything Bayfield/Apostle Islands has to offer within a block or three. Tour boats, fishing at Pier/Marina, Bayfield Market grocery shop, shopping, restaurants, ice cream. beach. Memorial Park end of block. Madeline Island ferry is right across the street. If you forget something you can literally run back to the room and grab it in minutes. Which we did (our fishing license) for our fishing excursion on Anticipation Charters Sportfishing (highly recommend). Cenex gas station to get a day fishing license is few blocks away. Put kayaks in at the beach right across the street. You can walk to everything!!! No need for a vehicle and wasting time finding a parking spot. We stayed in 8A. Lots more space then the pics look. Futon lays down. Air conditioner in bedroom but it cools down the entire place. Even on the 80 degree days we had. Kitchenette was perfect. Fridge, microwave, toaster and coffee pot. Ice machine on site. Very clean and cute! Staff were sweet! If we get to go back, we won't hesitate to stay here again! Kuddos to this place!"
"The Walkout was perfect for myself, my daughter and two grand daughters. It was so nice to have a kitchen, supplied with coffee! And lots of room to lounge and relax after a long day. We loved being able to walk the path to town without having to walk on the highway.
Thanks! We’ll be back!"
"Great views, awesome room, and great owners. They went above and beyond making our stay fantastic. All staff encountered were extremely polite and helpful. We loved the property’s gear shop, balcony views and paddle boards and kayaks."
"Room wasn't well laid out to be able to unpack, all closet storage was in the kitchenette so drawers were full of utensils. No bathroom sink, you needed to use the kitchen sink, no bedside table for water. The biggest challenge was that there weren't blackout curtains so there was always light streaming in to wake you up. Noted that other amenities like yoga and meals are included but at the price point I expected a much more elevated room experience.
Yoga classes were nice and all the meals were great. I would have appreciated some social events at night to have the opportunity to interact with other guests."
"Cottage 4 was a blend of rustic charm and recent updates. The beds and furniture were comfortable. We were a party of two, but it would have been roomy for four. The hosts’ welcome gift of local ice cream was a bonus.
The location worked well for us. It was just off the highway, but quiet; and we had easy drives to explore towns and trails in the area."
