"The room itself was clean and spacious. However, we were assigned a ground-floor room with windows facing the parking lot. The resort appeared to be only about 30–40% occupied. When we requested a room change, we were told the resort was fully booked and were instead offered an upgrade to an ocean-front room for an additional $30 per night.
I specifically asked if we could move to another standard room, but the staff continued to say that all rooms were booked. Later, they added that because the reservation was made through a third-party app, they were unable to assist with a room change.
On our last day, I asked for a one-hour late checkout, but again I was told that the room was already booked and that we had to check out at 11:00 AM. This was surprising given that check-in isn’t until 4:00 PM and the resort still seemed far from full.
Another disappointing point was the firepit shown in the promotional photos. It appears inviting in the pictures, but in reality guests are only allowed to use it if they purchase food or beverages from the restaurant, which felt misleading.
Lastly, as vegetarians, we found the dining options extremely limited. Aside from fries and salad, there were virtually no vegetarian choices available.
