"Room was flooded with water from fridge. I cleaned it up. Phone did not work. Staff was helpful and nice. But price of $1,400 per night is not a value. Consider other places for price Staff there was polite and understanding"

"Overall, I had a pleasant stay at this DoubleTree. The FOH staff was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with questions & requests (Brianna). Their customer service was definitely the highlight of the experience, especially at one of the busy weekend of the year. That said, it's important to set your expectations. This is a “college-town hotel”, and while it provides the clean basics for a comfortable stay. One issue I noticed, and have notice it at other hotels around Tallahassee, is that the room individual AC units tend to have a musty/ mold-like smell."

"Actually pleasantly surprised. The staff takes pride in their hotel. First hotel I know of that offers complementary happy hour Friday 4-8 pm. Breakfast was good too. Rooms are 8.5/10. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom could use a bit of a refresh. But we’ve stayed in much worse. Overall good stay."

"My wife and enjoyed our stay at the lodge. Very beautiful scenery! Very clean inside and out. The breakfast was delicious at the dining hall. I had the breakfast tacos. There is a lot to do at the lodge. We took the wildlife river boat tour and it was amazing, highly recommend it."
