"The bed and breakfast was very comfortable. The breakfasts were superb. The service at breakfast was excellent and the couple who ran the bed and breakfast were very friendly. The rooms were comfortable although the shower was a little weak. We felt Covid safe. The customer lounge area was very pleasant with extremely comfortable seating."

"I often stay at this hotel, and the rooms are perhaps a little dated but always lovely. This time, I had an absolutely bargain priced single room on a Sunday night. The room was very small, but also very cute and cosy, and had everything I needed (that would have been included in a bigger/more expensive room) including a lovely bath. But, best of all, I had the most perfect sea view. I had the window slightly open all night and could hear the sound of the waves lapping...it was like being in...

"For a 3 star hotel I find Rivelyn excellent. It is always clean, the staff are helpful and friendly and beds are comfortable and the breakfast well cooked. It is located within a 2 minute walk to beautiful sea views from the Esplanade, a 5 minute walk of local shops and a 10 minute or less walk to the town centre, restaurants, cafes and the theatre, and also the beach. "

"Understand Covid is present but the room was dusty and smelt floaty. When booking there was no explanation about the breakfast. £149 was a lot of money for the standard of this room. Website didn’t really match reality. The young staff were great and very friendly. One of the older staff didn’t even speak!! Was underwhelmed!"
