The room was so Satisfying it was vkean and it snelled wonderful. The staff Mrs. Nurvina was ever so helpfull n so inviting as in she nade us feel comfortable and was very helpful. Ill definately recommend and stay at Windwater at South Padre island again n everytime I ho to the Island.

FILTHY!!! The whole hotel was filthy, blinds were torn. Found a roach on the couch. Beds outdates, terrible mattress. Burning smell from room. Toilet is bad bad condition. And after I checked out they charged my credit card for an unknown reason for $100. Avoid these guys like plague.

I paid for a king suite with a kitchenette and a balcony. Upon arrival there was a bag of garbage and used/dirty rags left on the balcony. The room was absolutely filthy, no kitchen not even a coffee pot ! Asked for a new room with the amenities I paid for, no ! They do not have kitchenettes nor coffee pots, nor do they have the free breakfast they advertise. However, you can get the coffee at the front desk (was told they are open 24/7) untrue. When they close they do leave an emergency # to call on the front door, coffee is not an emergency, this was after 8:00 a.m. There was unknown stuff running down the walls, on the curtain going out to the balcony, etc. There was no door handle on the patio doors so no lock ! I was provided some grey (originally white) towels and one washcloth of which I used to clean the filth off the refrigerator (it was now black) There was black mold in the shower and no hot water. There are open wires in the bathroom right next to the shower. Key cards do not work, you need to go get them reset often and the staff laughs at that ! So for safety and health reasons I had to book a room elsewhere and requested a refund, was told my booking states no refunds ! I said it did not state the unsafe conditions, the details of black mold, no kitchen, etc. They told me I have to understand it is an Island, WOW. I have stayed on the Island 3/4 other years and never had any issues ! DO NOT STAY HERE ! My next place was the best "Surfside 11"

WASTEWATER INN! If I could give a negative review I would! STAY AWAY!!!! When I first checked in they gave me a dingy 1st floor room that you had to enter in a very sketchy area of the hotel, when I asked for a safer room I was told that was all that was available. My sister had reserved what she was told was a kichenette for ALOT more money and her room did not even have a coffee pot! When we brought this to the attention of the girl at the front desk, she offered to "upgrade my sisters room for a condo for another $900 and no refund for the kitchenette she was supposed to get. I did go into the creepy ally room and it was so gross (mold and mildew, dirty ripped spread). i went back to the front desk and told them this was unacceptable and I wanted a refund to find other accommodation. I was told that no refunds were given. Since I was getting no money back And it was so late I again asked about other availability. Miraculously they were able to find another room on the second floor. Unfortunately this room was just as dirty if not worse. NO hot water and black mold in fridge and bathroom. This one had a stench in the bathroom that smelled like a dead body! I went to ask for a refund as I could NOT stay there they said Expedia would have to refund me. When I called expedia they said Waste water inn had to refund me. At this point I found another actual condo and cut my losses. I guess dying or getting seriously ill trumped getting my money back. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!

If your in need of an iron or ironing board and although they advertise they have them they do not. TVs are not smart tvs so bring your own HDMI if you want to watch anything other than over the air stations and good luck with a tv remote. They do not work....hope you like cold showers as there was no hot water in my room

Our first night here we had absolutely no water pressure, and no hot water. I brought my kids with me and we couldn’t bathe them, we couldn’t wash bottles, and we couldn’t shower. They finally fixed it the next day in the late afternoon. The rooms were clean but the towels and bed sheets smelled very weird. The towels were stained and there was hair (not from us) on the face towels when we first arrived, which made me grossed out a little. The room was big and spacious though, one of the tvs didn’t work. We made the best of it but I think if they just took care of the rooms better and care more about pleasing the guests, this would be such a great place to stay at. We DID complain to the front desk about the water situation, and when we finally got to speak to the manager, she told us straight up that she would personally check out and go somewhere else.

Unit had no warm water the entire time and did nothing about it. Units were not the best well kept there were cigarette buds all around the property. Did not enjoy.

El hotel estaria pasable para el precio , pero la administración está terrible, no tuvimos agua caliente ningún día , y cuando llegamos no nos avisaron y al preguntar dijeron que ya mañana habría. Y fue mentira , volvimos a preguntar y dijeron que no lo pudieron reparar , me da la impresión que no les importa la atención al cliente no nos dieron solución , lo reportamos a expedia y hablaron al hotel y les mintieron diciendo que ya lo arreglarían pero no. La habitación es amplia y si está cómoda pero no limpian bien había una bolsa de comida de mcdonalds vieja con desperdicios del los huéspedes anteriores en el balcón , la mesa y sillas súper sucias ni un trapito le pasaron , y si había una cucaracha muerta en la habitación . El elevador súper sucio tierroso de las paredes piso pegajoso y maloliente. Deben mejorar su servicio tiene potencial por el precio y ubicación pero por estas razones jamás volveremos .
