"We booked this hotel based on its 9.0 rating; however, we found the previous reviews to be overrated. The location is great, and the common areas are clean and welcoming. "I personally like no service during my stay. I didn't have to put don't bother sign up, just asked and they complied. Staff is super nice and great area. I stayed in the same room I did last year. It's clean and has a TV with cable. Rather large dresser....with wide / low top...great for travelers. It might be a "dated" paint/ decor...but it's nice. No breakfast, staff is always available. "

"Osa is a lovely spot for a drink, but plan on dining elsewhere. Breakfast buffet is serviceable but not worth the $. Not enough towels in the room, and the hvac in the bathroom never shuts off. Otherwise a great option for lodging in Pasadena, with 8$ parking across the street!"

"The room was very clean. The decor was fun and upbeat. We didn’t use the pool. It looked smallish but nice. Parking is a bit pricey. The location was perfect…central and all kinds of good restaurants and shops near by. All in all a very comfortable stay. "

"I went and asked for extra blankets and pillows and they had not been taken to us by midnight so we had to go back and ask again. We were allowed to check in 15 minutes before check in time of 4. I paid for the 2 beds and I was told that we have been upgraded to a king bed with couch. I did not understand the emphasis on them trying to tell me they upgraded us when I need 2 beds. On the positive side they did allow us to go into the pool area while we waited to be allowed in our room. "
