"Catrina is a motel, but has been fairly recently renovated to a good level. The bed was comfortable and the TV was a good size. The staff were very good and every two days the room was cleaned and the water, coffee and snacks replenished. We were on the upper of the two floors and didn’t hear a significant amount of noise from adjoining rooms."

"The staff was so friendly upon greeting us! It makes such a difference when you walk in to a hotel and the staff is welcoming! There was spa water and coffee available.
The maintenance man helped my daughter set up her computer so she could work on her homework while we sat poolside. Close to restaurants and ice cream. "

"This hotel was dated, yet clean, friendly, and functional. My son and I needed somewhere to stay before our early flight out of Oakland and this place was perfect. We liked the quiet location by the marina and the fact that we could walk next door for dinner. We slept well and being close to the airport made our travel day far less stressful with a 6am departure. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again. "

"This is the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel. Staff is always friendly and helpful, rooms are spotless and incredibly quiet, breakfast offerings are extensive and excellent and coffee and tea service is available 24/7. I plan on staying there again in December."

"We recently stayed 4 nights at Hotel Zico. The hotel was adequate for our needs. I have never stayed at a hotel where housekeeping only happens every three days, I found that curious and disappointing. I normally leave a tip for the housekeepers based on the number of nights I stay but they only visited our room once. I’m fine reusing my towels etc but a tidy up of the room and bed making would have improved the stay.
