"Great hosts who were very welcoming, a huge beautiful bedroom and bathroom with magnificent rural views, lovely linen on a very comfortable bed and the most delicious breakfast ever. The entrance and large garden were stunning. I didn’t want to leave and will be back."

"We were visiting Kilkenny and chose Kate’s Rest to stay at. The owner was so kind and took the time to chat and help us with anything we needed, it was a very personable experience. We stayed in a beautiful apartment (we had one double and two twin beds) what came with a kitchen and lovely open shower. The views are unbelievable and it was a great location. We would highly recommend a stay at Kate’s Rest. "

"Fantastic location with beautiful rural views. Good signage so it was easy to find. Our room was modern, comfortable and very clean. Nellie is a wonderful host and her breakfasts truly tasty (especially the rashers!). This was a return visit after a gap of a few years and it remains our favourite choice to stay when visiting Thomastown."

"Kingdom View is about 10-15 minutes drive outside Waterford. It's in the country and away from lots of traffic noise and other hustle and bustle but near enough to visit Waterford and other surrounding attractions."

"Had a fantastic 3 nights at Mary’s beautiful b&b which is set in the most stunning location. Mary could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Our room was immaculate and very comfortable, breakfast was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed dinner at the restaurant. The weather was fantastic so we were able to sit and relax in the lovely courtyard. We’ll be back!"
