The rooms could’ve been cleaner, I deep check everyone I stay in, since I have been in the industry before I look everywhere in that room. I usually find things or places that should be cleaner. I did find a couple spots that should’ve been cleaner and I talked to the front desk staff about it in the morning when I was checking out and they we’re going to let the property manager, Maintenance, and housekeeping
I did have a leak in the middle of the night that got the bathroom floor all wet coming from the ceiling. Since the bathrooms are probably stacked on top of each other on every floor. There is a leak in the bathroom above that was leaking down into my bathroom. That was also addressed at checkout.
Otherwise, the breakfast was good and the rest of the hotel looked good. A few in the carpeting down the hallways had some tears. For an older Marriott property it is still a nice property to stay at. 12-15 minutes from downtown.
The frontage road can be quite busy and takes a while to get out sometimes. The back entrance is easier and it takes a few minutes longer, but it is safer since they drive extremely fast on the frontage road."
