Motels in Southland

We were struggling to get accommodation for our next stay at Franz Joseh and Doug sorted it out for us. Nothing was too much trouble for him.

Almost luxurious with kitchen space and room for three. Perhaps more than actually needed for a single night on transit which is what I required. Close to marvellous civic gardens and museum and in reasonable walking distance of city centre. Easy to locate being close to water tower.

Excellent location, right by the departure points for various excursions and activities, with a view onto the lake. Kerri was extremely helpful with suggestions for food and activities, all of which we used and were excellent. Room had everything we needed and very comfortable too.

Griffen was extremely helpful when we arrived. This looks like a fairly new property in good condition. It was very spacious and tastefully decorated. Very clean. It is walkable to town and close to supermarket. Would recommend.

The motel was in great condition everything was clean and clearly well maintained. The rooms was equipped with a fridge, a microwave and plates/cutlery. The staff was really friendly and helpful.

On arrival we had a free upgrade to a larger room with great views of the mountains and lake. The room was very clean and tidy. The location was great too with just a ten-minute walk to the centre of town and a five-minute walk to the Skyline.

Staff were all so super friendly and very helpful, Airlines lost my baggage so the free use of washer and dryer was a godsend. We got upgraded and our 1 bedroom unit was super comfortable and homely. When I come back home to Invercargill 100% I'll be staying here again now questions. Thanks to all the staff, Cleaners we great and so nice. Also was great to be able to cook something as well on the range top.

Room was claimed every day staff were very helpful not much of a kitchen just a microwave and fridge. But all the shops you need are very nearby..

Nice roomy apt

We were warmly welcomed. The room was smallish but comfortable and had everything we needed.

Very nice place. Easy to walk to the Main Street with restaurants. Room was smallish but clean, nice and comfortable. Nice seating area with a sofa which is a good touch. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Nice and quiet, no noise from neighbours. Free parking outside your room.

Nice old-school holiday park with everything you would need, and a short walk from restaurants in the centre of town. We were particularly impressed with the staff, who were very understanding when we lost our key, and didn’t charge for a replacement. To top that we left an item in the room, and Jodi kindly had it couriered to another of our ongoing hotels. Great service!

A new complex on the edge of town. Just a short walk to all the places of interest.

The suite of rooms was very clean and well appointed. Nothing missing

Very nice room in a very convenient area of Cromwell.
