"The king suite was spacious, comfortable, and dark/quiet at night. Super clean. Fridge and water kettle with extra counter and sink made basic food prep easy. Good Wifi and smart TV. Easy to walk to town and Milford Sound day cruise departures. Great tourist advice. Parking fine. Do understand that our spacious room is not the same for all. "Generally ok place to stay. Has everything you need like all other hotels. Unfortunately the 1 bed apartment are not sound proof. So we had a poor nights sleep with hearing the people above us walking around and playing music until midnight and then car doors closing at 7am. The rooms don’t feel very private either with big glass doors in the bedroom and lounge so you have people walking past and looking in. Also worth noting, no air con "

"We booked the hotel room (not the motel). And it turned out that the it's pretty old hotel, and it seemed only 4 of us (2 rooms) were staying there, probably because it was low season? The cleanliness was ok, however we chose not to stay there and moved to other motel that are closer to town center. "

"We stayed for two nights using this as a starting point for Milford Sound. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom was exceptionally clean and rooms were large with lots of space. Well located on the lake within easy walking distance of town. Convenient parking onsite near your room. Excellent value for money. Highly recommend."

"The room and main building are a bit dated. However everything worked and the bed and shower were both very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant had an excellent view of the lake and the staff were very helpful. The food was good but the wine selection wasn’t that good"
