"The cabin was standard. The view from the cabin excellent!"

"The tv didnt work, was told a repairman was coming. Didnt see anyone. Shower was a pitiful trickle, no pressure in it. Our friends were in the room next door & had the same issues. I wouldnt recommend a stay there."

"Room was Lovely , nice and clean and great staff. Unfortunately noisy cars zooming past most of the night so little sleep. Probably could do with tripple glazing also black out blinds or curtains that fit better may block out the city lights. "

"Floor in room creaked like mad. Fridge vibrated and rattled when it turned on. Bed was like sleeping on a rock. Strange smell in toilet/shower area.Wooden veranda in front of the rooms made it sound like a herd of elephants were running passed. If you wanted to fill the jug to make a drink, the only place was hand basin in the bathroom."

"The unit was adequate for a two night stay. Very convenient for early morning boat trip on Doubtful Sound. Beautiful view of lake. Road a stone’s throw in front of unit but not very busy and bedroom was at the rear. Old fashioned interior and furnishings. Plenty of hot water, clean bedding and towels. No television but good WiFi. Overall we felt pricing was a bit on the high side. Parking beside unit. "

"Our room was comfortable. We had a suite and there as no TV in the bedroom which would have been more comfy. The bed was comfortable and great to sleep in. The bathroom was good except the shower had a pull around screen instead of a fixed one and we found that once showering the water went everywhere."

"A dated hotel that is really almost a motel in terms of rooms and stay quality. Condition is fine and front desk staff helpful but it isn't a good choice for a romantic getaway."

"We booked the hotel room (not the motel). And it turned out that the it's pretty old hotel, and it seemed only 4 of us (2 rooms) were staying there, probably because it was low season? The cleanliness was ok, however we chose not to stay there and moved to other motel that are closer to town center. "

"I was charged an additional adult at check out. The hotel staff (same person) should inform meat check in. You could not just charged someone when at check out. Travellers, beware! about the sneaky staff This hotel also used by Chinese's group tour, they are loud. "

"The rooms have an incredible view of the garden and lake. The room is spacious with a kitchenette. There is a washer and dryer on the premises. Cost 5.00. The staff was very nice. I noticed thr bathroom mirror was cleaned and the mattress was uncomfortable. "

"Our room had the quietest door between ensuite and bedroom that I have ever encountered. It was great as I am a night riser. They kindly made up our room each day, but without making the beds. It was great being within walking distance of eateries/town."

"Really loved my stay. The staff were wonderful and provided excellent hospitality. We meant a lot of people from around the world. We loved the nature. I tried kayaking and the outdoor hot tub. My only tip is to make sure you are covered up as there are a lot of sandflies and wear insect repellent. Overall loved our stay and very memorable"
