"We arrived after 9 but there was someone at the front desk to great us-which was great. Our room was clean and welcoming. The breakfast was great each morning and a good way to start each day."

"We really enjoyed our stay in the Proprietor’s Suite (which is a 1 bedroom house from 1929). Nicely appointed and very clean. However, the bedding was frankly horrible. Synthetic materials and even plastic covered pillows. Very low cheap quality for what otherwise was a lovely place."

"Overall we liked our stay. However, on our way home, we noticed a one night, charge, on our credit card account from the motel. The phone call back to the motel resulted in a verbal disagreement as to why this charge occurred. The manager would be available the next day but until then we were upset with this improper charge. The next day the charge was cancelled by a matched credit. Unfortunately this situation, although solved, was a dark stain on our visit."
