"We went to Grand Haven to spend one day at the beautiful beach and then we wanted a place to spend the night before driving back home the next day. Check in was at 3:00pm, which we were fine with, but because we were there on one of the very, very HOT days we went there at 1:00 to see if they would hold our luggage so our toiletries (ie soap, lotions, my make up, aerosol hair products) didn’t melt or explode. "I had to wait to check in as staff were not at desk. When she arrived, she was helpful enough. The hallways were dark and a bit dingy. In the room, the shower gel was out and the carpet near the temperature control was wet. When I entered the room, there was a chemical smell. I was very surprised by the condition of the property since I expect Country Inn and Suites to be of higher quality - and the price was not cheap. Breakfast was OK. I would never recommend this place."

"Everything was really clean. I love that it was 24hour check in. So it was very convenient. Staff were very friendly, helpful and patient. And I have a very busy busy 7 year old. Pool was nice. Everything was clean. Good breakfast choices"
