This hotel is legendary in the area. Unfortunately, it's tagline isn't tradition meets innovation.
That is it's not set up for handicapped access, elevators that are even a little more spacious, toilets that are not jammed against the wall, outlets that are so loose that plugs fall out immediately, lamps/lights that are logically connected to the switches, etc.
What is more, it hasn't been upgraded to include USB-A or B or C ports. The USB-A ports on the TV cabinet are too far. Speaking of TV, the TV received no signal for at least one night. That maintenance is not on duty after 6pm is not an excuse to have channels inaccessible.
Some challenging and some easy upgrades would make this beautiful building a great place to stay.
