"I think its a matter of you get what you pay for. I was put off by all the signs everywhere trying to rein in guest behavior. The pool and gym were not open and appeared to be in poor condition. I didnt like the remote front desk. The audio was terrible. The only working ice machine was on the 6th floor, which apparently wasnt even used as it wasnt air conditioned. The first sign I saw was on the front door. "No public restrooms ". Another that bothered me was a breakfast saying if you took...

"We spent the 4th of July weekend at this resort! We had a party of 15 guests and stayed at the Eagle cabin. We were all pleasantly surprised to see how well made and divided the cabins are. Everything in our cabin was nice and clean. We had a heat wave during our stay, but the central AC in the entire house was perfect. We had a BBQ and bonfire during our stay. "BRAND NEW EVERYTHING! We really enjoyed our stay. The complimentary parking garage was just one block away, which was very convenient. The continental breakfast was good, and the restaurant and bar were a nice bonus. The foyer was a wonderful place to sit and chat with friends. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. The bathroom was excellent, with a great shower, although the toilet was quite small. "There are several long term renters. It’s a rough crowd. The lamp by the bed was busted. Water taps switched. Evidence of recent fumigation. It felt like someone had just moved out. I’m fine with less than standard accommodations but I felt like I was likely to be part of a crime scene. My wife warned me not to come home with bedbugs.
