"Room was quirky, clean and had good amenities (perhaps only missing an iron?) with a particularly good shower and comfortable bed. The location is great, not in centre but a nice walk with plenty of cafe’s, restaurants and bars nearby. Only downside’s We stopped on a Friday and Saturday night and it was noisy from the bar/karaoke downstairs till circa 1am, (we had fun guessing what the song was) however they do warn you when booking and provide ear plugs. Also the stairs are quite steep but...

"Room was Iovely - clean, well appointed and very comfortable bed with high end linens. Nice big bathroom with tub and shower. Beautiful views of a meadow and very quiet. We loved that it was out of the way but others may want to be closer to Oxford. "

"Pros: Great location, picturesque river view, nice large outdoor patio, cosy bar restaurant area, good breakfast, friendly staff. Cons: Room requires a thorough cleaning, very dusty with a musty smell, carpet should be cleaned or removed. Given the price paid the room was uncomfortable and disappointing. "

Excellent shower. hotel has no restaurant, bar, sitting room, gym or other facilities beyond the room Room was missing many small essentials appropriate for this class and price level hotel eg, no fridge, no coffee maker, no conditioner in shower, no bathroom vanity kit, no wine glasses or nice drinks tumblers, and for a hotel without any restaurant or bar, no snacks or minbar items available at reception. "Step into Room 18 , although signed , is a bit precarious if you are unsteady on your feet . Light switch to bathroom kept falling off . Breakfast , although nice , is overpriced . Location is very convenient for city Centre . "
