The Hotel design is disgraceful. The small room where the self service breakfast was available is at the back of the reception building which is next to the main road and uphill from the hotel bedrooms. The pool and spa is in a detatched location between hotel building and Reception. A long walk on a cold day for a swim is a big negative. The edrpom was as expected with mosquito net door between bedroom and decently furnished balcony which overlooks the lake. There is no need for me to retun to this area,would I stay here, depends if the rates were competitive.

Jet tub was awesome, but made the room kind of tight to maneuver around. It was also a first floor room and couldn’t enjoy the view while soaking for fear of window peepers lol. Guess next time I will request upper room? Friendly staff

Staff were incredible We called ahead to let them know we would be arriving after midnight and they made sure someone was at the front desk to check us in. We got to our room and were delighted to open the sliding balcony door and hear the waves gently crashing below. The hotel has a beautiful sunrise view facing Lake Huron and Mackinac Island. Most rooms have this view. Our room was booked as 2 queen beds but the beds were certainly full, not queen, but still suitable. The room had lots of space and everything was suitable to our needs. Odds are if you're visiting this area you aren't in the room for much more than bedtime. Downsides would be that the breakfast was inadequate. They had muffins, breads, fruit, oatmeal, and waffles. But for anyone who needs protein with their breakfast, you're gonna have to get something else. There are also no fitness facilities on the property. Overall though, a great stay and exactly what we needed for the trip.

Weekend Getaway
Very clean rooms, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast, but the best was the view! After a long drive to the UP, it was very relaxing listening to the waves on our patio. I will definitely be staying there again.

This Quality Inn was wonderful. The staff friendly but the room was on point. Jacuzzi was a surprise and the lakefront room provided amazing views of the sunrise. I would absolutely stay again. We stayed for 4 days and the housekeeping staff was top notch.

Nice view, friendly staff, good experience
Hotel staff were friendly and the view of Mackinac Island from the balcony was really nice. There was a free shuttle to get to Mackinac and back which was helpful. Room service came in and cleaned the room while we were out for the day. Breakfast was ok (basic, but adequate). Overall, very satisfied with the stay for the price.

Your room was clean upon arrival and housekeeping was headed toward your room to do cleaning, however you arrived back before it was completed. They did offer to come in, but understandably you were ready to relax after a day out and about.

Although we are sorry you did not enjoy your stay, and you did not write any specific comments - we were able to find and review your situation. It appears you booked your room type online and were not happy that we could not change it as we did not have any other open rooms that evening. From there we could not seem to meet your expectations. In the future we hope you can find accommodations that fit your needs.

Absolutely‘Superior’
We loved this clean and friendly inn. Staff were exceptional and made sure we were totally satisfied. The bed was comfortable and amenities were nice. Coffee, snacks, and breakfast were above average. Breakfast bread was so good we stopped at the bakery that provided it and bought 2 loaves for home. We look forward to staying here again!

Room was very nice. Staff was great. They restocked the room daily. Never had to ask for towels or Tp. Sea gull and geese poo all around the buildings and beach. They tried to it up best they could

Tub was broken and spongy when you stepped on it. Someone is going to go through the bottom at some point. View was very nice. It was an average stay, but nothing spectacular.
