"Hotel looked great online and like a 1970s holiday camp when we arrived with metal staircases and chalet rooms We also had a lovely guest decide to smash the room up under us and threaten everyone police called not 1 member of staff checking anyone was ok Breakfast was awful all in all never to be repeated again"

"Parked just around the corner. Received a very warm welcome. We walked a couple of minutes and caught the tram straight to the university of Sheffield. "

"Modern, clean and great location. Room has everything you need for comfortable stay. Very nicely furnished. Loved the decor and lighting. Nice bathrooms and lovely towels. Christianne provided first class customer service. Would suggest a room at the rear if road traffic bothers you. Would also suggest the hotel covers the lovely complimentary cakes they provide each afternoon to stop the flies enjoying them. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will visit again."

"The food was out of this world, presentation, taste and service in the restaurant. Spoke to staff and the Chef after my meal and the passion for the food and the standards was evident. I will 100% recommend and stay again."

"Nothing wrong the aesthetics of the hotel and appeared clean. Staff were good. Just the second Marston’s Inn in a year that I’ve been bitten badly by bed bugs. Reported and hopefully will get sorted. 100% will not stay at another Marston’ Inn."

"Would have given a 5 star review but unfortunately neither me or my wife could have a shower, water would only come out at super hot no matter how I tried to ad cold it just stayed boiling hot. Both had to wash in the sink as a consequence. We were in room 6"

"We had another wonderful stay. It’s in a great spot with Meadowhall across the road, off the M1 and only a 20 minute drive (if that) from the town centre. The staff were fabulous, especially Rachel and Anthony. If we come back to Sheffield, we would stay again. "

"Charming hotel in tranquil setting but with very easy access to major road networks. We were a bit worried that the hotel might be noisy but even after a large prom event all was very peaceful and quiet by 11.30pm. Staff were very helpful and friendly and our room was very spacious, tastefully appointed and had a very comfy bed. Would definitely return."
