"We really enjoyed our stay at The Little George! Geoff was super kind and helpful, showed us to our room. The room was lovely and spacious and very clean, lovely bathroom with a big shower (the included toiletries smelled amazing too!). Well stocked minibar, teas and coffees etc. WiFi was very good too, easy to connect and fast, which is needed in this area as mobile data signal can be a bit iffy. "To be fair, this is apparently one of the oldest pubs in the area so it's dated interior kept with the theme. The staff were friendly but you might have to wait for service at the bar or restaurant, or reception. The bar - ran out of draught cider (on an early Friday evening) The restaurant ran out of sirloin on an early yes you guessed it Friday evening. "Our stay was not the best. Dirty cups in room, no milk, very hot room. Asked for a fan which we did receive but it was broken. On a having a shower the head of the shower flew off and hit me. Food basic, at breakfast poached eggs were hard and u only got half a slice of bread. The staff were good, and when i made a complaint i did get my money back. Overall i would never stay here agsin."
