"The Green Man public house is awesome dating back to the 1300’s and is full of character. Although our room was in the block at the rear of the of the pub, was clean and tidy, there were areas which were not good. The bathroom was in need of renovation, the extractor fan was thick with dust and there was a section of skirting board in the bedroom which had actually rotted! Several lamps on the room didn’t work. The king size bed was very comfortable affording a great sleep. Had to forgo breakfast on one morning as they had no eggs or fresh salmon left! However the food was excellent having eaten there two evenings and the following day managed an excellent breakfast. The pricing of the food overall is very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. That all said however, feel that I would stay again - better than a Premier Inn. the overall stay was excellent given the character of the pub, the food, staff and comfy bed,"
