"All vending machines out of order, no elevator to reach second floor. Had to carry luggage up stairs. Don’t think they have a pool, if they do, I wasn’t told where it was. The online pictures are not what it actually is. Sorta reminds me of a rent by the hour motel you see in the movies. Won’t be going back there again."

"This is a motel, not a hotel. Room was very dirty. It didn’t seem like they’ve ever mopped the floors if they cleaned them at all. Shower didn’t drain. Very thin walls, we could hear neighbor conversations loud and clear. Good parking though and the restaurant next door is super good. Also very cheap stay for the area but you definitely get what you pay for."

"Had the kind bed room with sleeper sofa! Didn’t have any bed sheets or pillows for the sleeper sofa. Went downstairs to all for blankets and pillows and was told he would have to find some. Eventually he brought us blankets but said there were no pillows. The hotel was not very clean and kind of smelled musty! Breakfast was decent."

"I didn't have a working telephone in my room, and I told them about it. No shower in the pool area, had to walk back to the room to shower, but had to leave towel there at pool. Hot tub didn't have jets, it was just warm water. Short breakfast hours. Only old oranges for fruit. No soap in the dispenser in the shower. But I was pleased that they had a Bible in the room."

"The price is right for this property. It is an inexpensive hotel that is fairly clean, and in a good location but lacks much for a continental breakfast. The workers were not rude, but they were not friendly."

"Our stay was comfortable, room was clean. There is no ice machine on site so plan accordingly. There is not an office onsite, plan on Self Check-in only with call support if you have issues with your door code."

"Coffee was horrible, one day no coffee at 7:45am, eggs were cold, staff was rude. Tiles in bathroom were loose. Old building not well maintained. We have to go to Chisago a couple more times and will definitely get hotel closer to MinneapolisWould rather drive 45 minutes than stay there again."

"Overpriced. Continental breakfast is bagels cereal and a waffle machine. No hot food other than make your own waffles. No dresser for clothes, phone in room did not work so no way to contact desk. No elevator."

"Someone else said old but well maintained. They were correct. I walked into the room and the AC was off. It was about 80 in the room. No odd smell. Just hot. The AC cooled it down quickly and efficiently. The sheets were soft. Choice of flat or fat pillows. Bed was hard, but at least it was clean and smell free. I’m picky, and was satisfied"

"We frequently choose older motels that cost less. We look closely at their photos, and if it looks updated and clean we choose it. Usually we find it is owned/managed by an immigrant family, frequently from the Subcontinent, and they do an excellent job with the older property. The Royal Inn in Hudson, Wis., is such a place. It was very clean, the air conditioning worked well on a hot day, parked right in front of our room. Convenient location."

"By far the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms were filled with mold and stains on practically every piece of furniture in the room. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting, I squatted over the toilet the 1 time I needed to pee. The floors were sticky and the AC barely worked. It smelt like straight mold and I will never stay in a hotel related to this company again. I felt unsafe my entire stay and only stayed in the hotel room for 6 hours in total due to needing to rest...
