"This was a super basic hotel. The location is convenient and an easy walk from the train station. It is also a close walk to the historic district where you’ll find lots of restaurants, bars and cafes. While we expected very basic accommodations for the price, there were some issues with our room that I need to flag: 2 of 3 windows did not open/were broken, there were missing fixtures and large holes in the drywall, and overall the furniture was quite flimsy. "Stay was fine, very good location. Could be quite loud as you can easily hear the other rooms and people on the stairs. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was simple but lovely. The biggest issue was the shower which was terrible as the head was falling apart and the enclosure had black mould all around. "

"Nicely appointed rooms and a really good location close to the old town, port and transport hubs. Comfy beds and good size rooms. Bath in the bedroom is not to our personal taste but I know is very popular these days. The breakfast was good and there was a good quantity. "Overall, this was a nice place to stay. The reason I docked it one star are because of things outside of the control of the hotel. The room itself was nice (though I wouldn't call it "luxury") and spacious. The bed was quite comfortable! There was a balcony which looked over a little side street. The aircon/heater in the room was a welcome addition! All the staff I encountered were extremely courteous and helpful. However, they do seem to leave about 1:30ish in the afternoon. After that,...
