"The hotel was very updated and comfortable. We had to park in the back up parking lot due to our late arrival but that worked out fine. The staff was very attentive."

"The hotel oversold the rooms and apparently that means the hotel gets to pick and choose who they want to lie to. My room was supposed to be ready at 12, it wasn’t. I literally chose to come stay here because of the bar. Unfortunately I couldn’t see past the horrible front desk experience. I was hoping to like this place so that my family and friends would have a comfortable stay while in NYC. I will never stay here again or subject people that I love to this place. The room I was promised was not what I was given. The lady tried to gaslight me and manipulate the situation. People think I’m extremely young but I’m not and try to treat me poorly based on my appearance. Save yourself the headaches and don’t book here. Here’s the list of things that were not working: the TV wouldn’t go any louder than like a quarter of the volume, there was no refrigerator unless you want to pay $10 per day, there’s one microwave on a certain floor, the noise from the street and sirens at all hours of the day and night, and the food gave me food poisoning. This was my first impression of Harlem and it’s not a good one."

"This is a great part of town to stay in -- less touristy, very quiet at night, just 1 block from a subway station that can get you wherever you need to go."

"The area around the hotel was questionable just by view. The local bodegas were amazing Sal’s diner was top notch. The hotel itself was clean. Loved the security you needed your card to get into the elevator and you could only go to your floor. The room was lacking a microwave, seating was also tight in the room but sufficient for what we needed. The bed was soft but I prefer a firmer bed. The view was excellent, the shower was great, hot and plenty of pressure. The towel warmer in the bathroom was a super nice touch. This is not one of those hotels that’s full of amenities and perks but ultimately it’s a clean place to lay your head and has everything that you might need. The staff were polite but they did say your room number aloud . It’s definitely out of the way but again served its purpose."
