"Our room was not ready when we got there, we had to wait 30 minutes for it to be cleaned. We arrived at 10:30pm. The room was unbearably hot, we asked for a fan to help cool it down along with the ac. The apologized and did give us $20.00 for the inconvenience. Besides that, it was a decent place to stay."

"I really liked the grounds of the property. It’s nicely landscaped with trees and gardens, and has a little playground, a volleyball court, corn hole, a pickleball court, firepit areas, and the pool & hot tub. The lobby is pleasant and the rockers out front are a nice touch. Lobby & breakfast staff were very helpful and pleasant.
The hotel basically comprises multiple motel, er “lodge” buildings. Ours needed a sweeping out front. Our room was clean when we arrived, but was never cleaned during...

"Overall the hotel was good but certain areas could use a little attention. The hallway walls near our room are very banged up and have scrapes all over them (probably from housekeeping carts). There are large bleach spots on the carpet near our room. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ok and had some variety to choose from."

"During our visit the power had been disrupted around the entire town. Lights out! However, the staff did all they could to make guests feel comfortable and safe. They helped us and many other visitors by answering questions and providing recommendations in the tough situation. Once we got in our room, we were able to adjust until the power eventually returned and the remainder of our trip went well. We enjoyed our stay in the area and the hotel and staff definitely made the trip better."

"Our stay at the Starlight Lodge was as advertised and expected. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. This is an older Motel with a nostalgic feel to a time before the fancy hotels and every amenity that you could think off. The Lady’s that run the front desk were very polite and made us feel at home.
Location is perfect with breakfast lunch and dinner close. Within walking distance wherever you wa t to go… pool or dining downtown using the pedestrian walkway.
