"The outlet wasn't working so I could do my work. I was not accommodated whatsoever. They simply brushed me off and said "sorry the maintenance man left and the rooms are booked." No other way to take care of a paying customer."

"The area around the hotel is a little rough but the hotel itself was clean and tidy. It is located close to the train and parking on the streets was fairly open when we were there. Good breakfast, and friendly staff. The Laundry room worked well and it has a decent fitness room."

"We stayed at 42 hotel for 6 nights while helping our daughter move into a nearby apartment. We had lots of luggage and asked several times for help with storing it while we were arranging things and loading it into a van. Every time the staff were incredibly helpful and cheerful, even though it was one of the hottest days Brooklyn has ever seen (102 F). They made the move so much easier than it could have been. "We booked a room for 3. It was a bit small and had a double bed + a single bed. The room was neat and so was the bathroom. The bathroom was also small and the wall between the bathroom and bedroom was a mirror wall, so when the lights were on you could see into the shower, so defintely something to keep note off. Otherwise, it was a great stay. Our room was also next to the subway, we didnt mind the noise, but if you are sensitive, keep that in mind when booking."

"The stay was fine. I was't in the room alot. But I never got a receipt for the stay. There was somehow 2 bookings. Desk agent canceled booth and rebooked. He said he was going to cancel one of the stays but canceled both and rebooked. This made the stay more expensive. The amount was not too much more but it was still more.
Trying to get a receipt for my stay was like pulling teeth. I probably won't stay at this property again, unless I have no choices."
