"Room were clean and tidy, staff were very welcoming & attentive. There was plenty of car parking. There were tea & coffee facilities in the room. We were able to order breakfast easily and it was freshly cooked and very nice. Overall a lovely over night stay"

"This was the second time to visit The Blue Boar. They had a problem beyond their control in that the boiler broke so we had three dsys with no hot water . The rest of our stay was great . Steve front of house manager was great and keeps things running like clockwork. Lucas the barman is an asset to the establishment what an absolutely nice person . We were wonderfully greated by Roxy a waitress who remembered us from our previous stay . All in all a great three day's and I'm sure in time we will return . "

"This property is convenient for Warwick and has a large car park. However the room was very basic - uncomfortable beds and outdated pine furniture, a cracked and peeling lampshade and tiny TV. The main problem for us was the road noise. It is right next to a busy and fast road and the noise in the room was just terrible. We were booked for 2 nights but left after the first one as we practically didn't sleep. The staff/owners of the property were just LOVELY and couldn't have been more helpful. The indian meal we had in the restaurant was absolutely delicious and the complimentary breakfast was also excellent. I think the good reviews of this property must stem from the excellent food and not from people who have stayed here. I highly recommend it as a place to eat but discourage anyone from staying here if you are hoping for a decent sleep!"
