"The view was beautiful seeing the ocean from the balcony. We enjoyed sitting out there in the evenings."

"Me and my family arrived before 3 pm to check in but the room was not ready yet they still cleaning it and I have to wait 1 hour and 15 minutes to get the room by 4;15 pm . We were very tired and the staff stared we were fully booked. I entered the room tried to call the lobby but the phone was not working"

"Our stay was relaxing. The only issue was our A/C unit was leaking all night, we had to put towels underneath it. I noticed another review talking about the truck stop next door, it was honestly not an issue for us and it didn’t disturb us at all. The staff was very nice and attentive!"

"Stayed in the 2 bedroom family suite. It was perfect. Enough room for 4 adults and 2 small children. Very clean and spacious room, hotel staff was great. The breakfast was absolutely amazing!! Overall I give Galveston Beach Hotel five stars Thank y'all so very much for accommodating myself, my husband, and my son and his family all in the same room"

"This has been the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in. It was gross. Looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a long time. Room was dirty, carpet was dirty, hallways were full of trash, lobby floors were dirty and gross. Found someone else's hair in my bathroom. No towels."

"There was hair located in the bathroom on the bed as well and some kind of stains are on the bed. It wasn’t clean. The staff was nice. Breakfast was very poor. The location was not terrible. It fit for where we were going. The air-conditioning did work."

"I’m shocked this has an 8/10 rating. This was probably the worst hotel I’ve stayed in prior to a cruise. The front desk lady was very nice, but that’s about it for positives. From the moment we walked in it smelt off. Like a moldy mildew kind of smell. Turning the AC on made it worse. The room overall was dirtier than it should have been.
