"Arrival and check in was all good, restaurant was good great food. We stayed with a wedding party, so we had quite a few rooms. I believe the rest of the parties rooms were fine however my room was on the second floor. We we had suitcases to carry to the second floor, large mother of the bride dresses with a large hat box and accessories. Right from the start we felt welcomed, the room was spotless and the views overlooking the countryside was idyllic. "On the whole it was a very enjoyable birthday weekend for myself and my wife. One small comment to make is on the Saturday night we opted for the buffet as opposed to the à la carte. The choice and quality weren’t the best but ok, only then to find out when the time came to pay that the costs were the same for the buffet as they were for the à la carte! Bit naughty really. "
