"We absolutely loved our stay at the Carriage House. The room was clean and comfortable. The environment was quiet and relaxing. The location is perfect for early taking advantage of activities in Asbury Park. Breakfast was spectacular and the service was exemplary. Danielle is courteous, helpful, and engaging. "We arrived to find people in the parking lot drinking various types of alcohol and women who appeared to be escorts. The place felt very unsafe. We requested a refund as we did not feel safe due to the clientele and were denied. The concierge was very rude stating that other guests feel safe so we would not be refunded. "

"Ours was a spring visit. Our expectations were met. The location is right on the central mall and very close to the beach and the downtown shopping street. Parking is on street. Every room is different, so that could affect how you view your stay. Ours was second floor, one room back from the second floor porch. That porch is where breakfast buffet is served. We could still see the mall from our window while being close to the porch for buffet and coffee or tea during the day…yet our room...
